Wedding invitations/corona

Christina, on March 20, 2020 at 11:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 2

Ugh this virus sucks. But I’m so thankful to have my health and my families health. What’s going on is scary and real, even though I know it will pass I’m sad for the amount of loss people are going through.

I’m praying that life will go on normal soon but who knows. I’m hoping my July 25 wedding in the clear but I was going to send out invites end of April beginning of May. Do you think I should include an insert in the invitations about corona ? Just say we are watching the news and we will reschedule by a certain date if this is still bad.... what do you ladies think.

I don't know if it belongs as an insert with an invitation. Maybe if you have a website you should write information there that you guys are monitoring the situation?

Hi Christina. I'm sorry everything is so up in the air and that you're even having to worry about this. Most people send their invitations out 6 to 8 weeks before their wedding. If you can wait until the end of May or early June you should have a much better idea of what the likelihood is that you may have to postpone.
