wedding invitations on a tight budget

So at first i was going to order some from minted with my coupon for half off but it was still 350! I really don't want to spend that much. What are some affordable ways to make invitations myself? I would like them to look elegant, rustic is not my style.

Do you mind sharing where you obtained your half off coupon for Minted? I had been looking into different designs and narrowed it down to Shutterfly, ElegantWeddingInvites, and Minted. I do like the ones at Minted the best so far due to the "All in One" design they offer but as other people have said, they are pricier than most. I've only got 15 and 20% off discounts so far from their emails and such. Thanks so much!

In my family everyone just prints them themselves at like office depot or kinkos. You use the card format on Microsoft office and enter your info then print on card stock and cut them out. You can do post card style this way too.

Ann's Bridal Bargains!! I got mine during a 30% off sale and got 200 invitations that came with RSVP postcards for only $147 after shipping (and they came in 3 days after we ordered them)! We're not getting married until Leap Day next year, but I already ordered them because of the great deal.

Did the rose gold foil print at Staples? I was considering something like this as well, but didn't know if they could do the foil print.

Postcards? I think you can alter some of the postcard options on sites like Vistaprint into something that's more wedding appropriate. If you do postcards you don't have the extra reception card to deal with. One of the hidden big costs is postage because invitations tend to be very heavy and you're sending out so many at one time.

I bought an editable template on Etsy - it was a whole set (Invitation, Details Card, RSVP) but I only used the Invitation. Then I uploaded it to Vistaprint. They have an up to 50% off sale right now. The invitations were only $54 for 70. I did customized envelopes to match that had our return address printed on them, so it was about $19 more for that. You can order a free wedding sample kit on their website as well.

Vistaprint and Zazzle always have sales!!! Vistaprint is the cheapest option I think but I got mine from Zazzle and I didn’t spend over $1 per invite.

So my budget is really tight and my fiancee is really creative, so what we did was we made our own. I wanted to have invites that weren't just going to create waste after the wedding was done, so I bought Seed paper which can be planted. Then I bought envelopes and stickers! I think I paid about $35 to $40 for the invites, then we sent half via e-mail to save on paper too. We are anticipating about 60 people for our wedding.

I did my Save The Date on Walgreens photos Stationary website and got 60% off and they looked good. I am also doing my Menus off of there.

I just ordered my invitations from Vistaprint yesterday for $95 (for 100 + 100 white envelopes)! I used their code CONGRATS for 50% off. They are foil print invites, too, so they should look pretty nice!

I made mine for free on Canva and then had a local print shop make them happen in real life. It was just over $100 and that was only because they accidentally ordered more copies than I wanted.

I believe I paid about $100 for ours through vista print . I got 75 invitations and a pack of address labels (I really didn’t want to write our info 50+ times). I’m having guests rsvp via our wedding website but most have just texted me 😂

the biggest thing that helped me was looking at the price point for the invitations before really looking at the design. This helped me not fall in love with expensive designs 😂 I was surprised with the designs for the less expensive ones, and the quality is great

I was just searching google for templates and came across this website https://www.greetingsisland.com/ where you choose from their designs, personalize them, then download to your computer and print them out yourself. Or take the file to a printer and have them do it for you. I'm printing them myself, and they are free except the cost of the paper and ink to print them. they also have response cards, save the dates, rehearsal dinner invites and a lot more.

I'm using a girl I found on instagram for mine! She's custom designing them, printing them, and addressing the envelopes.. All for less than $300. Her instagram handle is @DarlingConcepts

You know if you want that classic elegant look, a lot of those beautiful laser cut envelope sleeves that make invites look so fancy come from China! I found a ton of them on DHgate. You could pair them with affordable, sinple invitations to make them look a lot more fancy.
