Wedding Invitation with Mini Paperclip

Hi all Brides to be! I was thinking about using a mini paperclip to hold together our invitation and rsvp card. It's going to weigh less than 1 oz, but I'm not sure if it'll be an issue now that the envelope is no longer flat. Anyone have any experience shipping invites with paperclip??

People mail wax seals that definitely aren’t flat, I don’t see a paperclip being an issue.

I don't see it being an issue, but it's worth it to bring it into the post office and ask before sending.

I agree with MrsD, bring the envelope to the post office and get their input. This may ease any concerns you have. It could also be a great idea to trial posting one to yourself and seeing if it arrives ok and without a hitch
