Wedding Insurance

Precious, on April 28, 2015 at 3:37 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

Who did you use? I have progressive, and they don't offer any kind of event insurance. I called and all they could say was sorry. Our venue can provide it for $200. I got a quote from wedsafe.com for $150. Anything else out there? Wedsafe is legit right?

Oh and we have to provide $1,000,000 liability insurance.

I didn't even think about purchasing wedding insurance. I guess I should look into it now!

Wedding insurance is for the guest or for the tangible goods? I think I remember my friend had to buy insurance for his wedding because he had a bar and was serving alcoholic.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I didn't get scammed. I feel like wedding insurance could be an easy scam.

Our venue requires liability insurance in case something happens. I think it is primarily damage to their property.

I used Wedsure-- it can be a little bit more expensive than the others, but they let you customize each separate component, which made more sense for us.

I used wedsure as well. I think it was right around 150 for a million dollar policy.

State Farm can add it as a rider on your home owners ins. (Or your parents, or his....) I'm sure other insurance companies can do it too. I think we're paying $50 for $1,000,000 in coverage.
