Wedding in late Sept?

Stephanie, on September 7, 2019 at 12:34 AM Posted in Arizona Planning 0 3
I live in Phoenix for most of my life and tried to remember how hot it is in the end of September. We are using our lucky date to book a wedding and we are doing a backyard wedding. We are wondering if 9/24 is a good time to have a wedding. What’s the average temp in the evening? Does anyone know? I just don’t want my guests to complain or died in the heat.

    Hey Stephanie Smiley smile

It may be best to check out websites such as AccuWeather so get information on past temperatures in Phoenix for the time period you mentioned. Once you can see the historic numbers, you can judge if this is too hot for an outdoor wedding or make necessary changes to make sure your guests will be more comfortable Smiley smile

Will a lot of your guests be from out of town?

    Hi,

Thank you you for your response. Yes I will have some relatives coming in from out of town. Most of them don’t do well with the heat. I feel really stressed out picking a date. I am choosing a date based on numerology. I want a date that is compatible for the both of us. I am looking 9/24, 10/15 or 10/22. My fiancé don’t mind having an wedding in October and he says that the weather should be cool and perfect for our guests. We have some relatives whose birthday is on October 14th, 24th, and 25th. I don’t want to have my wedding close to their bday. 😭😫

Are they big milestone birthdays? If you're worried about upsetting them if you choose a date close to their, perhaps you could give them a heads up and see if it would put them out? You could always have a birthday cake at the wedding if it falls on someone's birthday!
