Wedding Hashtag Help!

Kristina, on November 26, 2019 at 8:19 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 4

Hey crafty ladies!!!

I really need some help on this one! Some of our friends call my fiancé Moe or Moe Moe… My fiancé often refers to me as Rae, which is my middle name. My first name is Kristina and his is Josemy. I'm from Minnesota and he's from Puerto Rico. We're both still in the Army Reserves, which is how we met over 6 years ago. We've been together 2 years and have moved up our wedding because we're getting deployed. HELP!!! Our last names are Larson and Morales (I will have 2 last names and be Morales Larson when we're married to join our two customs together - women don't typically change their name in his culture, but if we have children, their last name would also be Morales Larson after our last names). We're getting married on 8/8/2020.

What about #MeOhRae? It would be said like Me-Oh-Rae, but kind of looks like Moe? Is that too complex?!

Would you be ok with the hashtag only having one of your surnames in it?
