My Mom is making chicken salad sandwiches, and we’re having a fruit and nut bar. We will probably have less than 50 guests, mostly family members, so we didn’t want to spend too much on a caterer.

If you are doing buffet you can do a mix between, Mexican because you guys love it and jointly and mix in 1-2 dishes of Haitian/southern food.

Like maybe do a Nacho bar- have chip- meat, cheese, gauc, sour cream, salsa , lettuce, etc

Then have like mac n cheese, (groit) probably spelled wrong Haitian pork, chicken(BBQ,fried), black rice, veggies. Lil bit of all.

Our venue is a farmhouse and barn! Hoping to do dinner in one of the apple orchards on the property as long as the weather holds out! We are having catered BBQ! Super cost effect and the food was amazing!

Hi! I'm getting married near Philadelphia, at Anthony Wayne House, catered by Jeffrey Miller Catering ! They offer an amazing cocktail hour with will be all food at stations (you can do passed hors d'ourves, we just opted for stationed!) And the dinner will be plated. I've been to a buffet style wedding they did, which was amazing as well and it created a more laid back atmosphere which was great. Regardless of how you decide to serve the food, as long as it's delicious, people will love it! I love that JAM Catering uses local farmers, and the food is all handmade!

We just hired our caterer yesterday! I tried their food at a wedding expo and we were supposed to do a tasting over the weekend but for obvious reasons it was postponed. But we went ahead and signed the contract anyway because we know we're going with them.

Since are doing a "intimidate wedding destination" (I said an elopement) but we are going out to eat... don't know where just yet but we are working on it. Maybe the signature restaurant of our resort then out to paint the town red.

I love reading everyone's foods! We will be doing a buffet with two different cuisines: one half will be traditional Indonesian food as my FH was born and spent half his life there. The other half will be a taco bar with a ton of vegan options (for me) like chorizo mushrooms, bbq tofu, slaw, rice, beans, guac, salsas, etc catered by the restaurant we first ever ate at together Smiley heart

I’m asking certain family members and church friends to bring appetizers. I’m just having an afternoon ceremony and short reception.
