Wedding flowers for small ceremony

Andrea, on June 21, 2020 at 8:31 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7
Since our original wedding plans got scraped, we are just doing a small intimate ceremony with about 25 people. Only our MOH and Best Man will be standing up with us, but other members of our bridal party will be in attendance and take part in photos, as well as our parents, my grandpa and very close aunt's and uncle. I want to get a small boutique for myself and my MOH, but what should I do about everyone else? I was thinking of getting a single rose for the bridesmaids and mothers but then some people are left out. We dont like corsages so if I can avoid them for now I would love too, cause my future MIL definitely wants one when we do our larger reception next year!
We were thinking of having the groomsmen wear the lapel pins we already purchased for them. What has other people done who did a small ceremony this year?
Thanks!

We're having 15 people this year. I'm having a smaller version of the bouquet I'll get next year and my bridesmaid will get a smaller version of that. All of the men are getting greenery boutonieres, except for the groom who's getting a more elaborate one.
My mom, fmil, grandmother, and my brother's girlfriend are getting corsages. I don't like corsages either, but that's what we ended up with. There's a more involved plan for next year. Also, my brother's gf wouldn't have gotten any flowers, but we didn't want to leave out just one person. Would you consider giving everyone a boutoniere? They could all be pretty simple and you could have more girly ones for the bridesmaids, moms, etc. I think it would be slightly annoying to have to hold a single flower, and they'd be more likely to wilt that way. Another idea, depending on what your bridesmaids/people are like, would be to give them a small clip/comb with flowers on it that they could put in their hair.

I’m actually giving my girls their original bouquets but next year I’m going to change mine and theirs up a bit. So my colors are purple lavender and white I wanted my bouquet a little different this year from my original plan. Next year I will take out that white and it will be all purple bouquet what I really wanted. My girls will have their original lavender and white this year and next year I will add some babies breath to make it a little different. I actually like your idea of a single rose those for the girls that’s super cute but you can also give them bouquets and just change things up for next year. I am giving the guys the lavender bouts and the same for next year it’s just my colors so I want to match but it is totally up to you whatever you choose will look great!!

I think the single stem idea is very elegant. I don't think anyone would feel left out. Really, having any bridesmaids at any size wedding leaves the possibility for someone to feel left out, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I ordered bulk flowers and am just having a few different size bouquets. Mine/MOH/Jr BM will have between 10-20 stems and then flower girls will carry single stems. MOB and MOG will have a few stems to hold in lieu of corsage as well. I ordered faux flower boutonnières for the guys off Amazon. All around $100.

Thanks! I like the idea of switching it up for next year so it's more unique.
