Hi all! So the theme of our wedding is Botanical Garden Affair/Spring Wonderland. As you can imagine we picture the place crawling with flowers and greenery. Now while our imaginations have run wild our floral budget ($6,000) has not. So while I absolutely love florals and they're very important for our wedding I am looking for ways to save. I've thought of DIYing, repurposing flowers, ordering the flowers in bulk myself, just doing silk flowers, and having a florist handle the personal flowers and an event planner handling the ceremony and reception flowers. I've already started contacting perspective vendors but haven't received any quotes yet.
Below I've included some of the ideas I have for our wedding from the Ceremony to the Reception. If anyone has had similar ideas for their wedding, what was the price? How were you able to achieve your floral dreams and keep it within your budget? How did you decide what to sacrifice?
