Wedding floral and decor

Yikes! We went with a local florist, more of a mom and pop shop, but she's still charging us 3500 😬. Best advice I can give is ask what flowers will be in season around that time and see if the problem is your flower choice. They may tell you that's just the cost no matter the flowers, but worth a shot!

Wow. That’s like my whole wedding budget lol we are only doing the bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières from our florists and our budget is $800. For the ceremony the budget is $150 for decor and $300 for the reception. We are doing lanterns, candles, and fake flowers- lots of DIY stuff.

I did my own centerpieces and reused some of the ceremony flowers for my card table and guest book table, etc. I used my bouquet for the sweetheart table with greenery and all of that saved a lot of money.

I'm probably the worst person to add to this, but I opted for more candles than flowers. it saved money. Flowers are for one day. I refused to pay more for flowers than my dress!

We’re not really having any decor besides florals and our florals will be about $4500. My late grandmother was a florist for 35 years though, so skimping on florals wasn’t an option for me.
