What are you doing for wedding favors? I was for sure going to do stemless wine glasses with personalized writing with our names and the wedding date on it, then lately I came to thinking I’m not too sure about it... Please help with ideas. Thank you 🥰

We are doing a harry potter inspired wedding, so our favors will be chocolate frogs. i decided on something edible bc in my opinion, if i'm going to give favors, i wanted to be sure people took them. i think a lot of favors (as well as programs) end up in the trash and lets be honest, it's not cheap. i think wineglasses are a nice idea and if you can find a place to do them where it won't cost you a crazy amount of money do it, just keep in mind you may have some left behind.

We're getting married on the beach and our invites were very similar to these.................they're coasters. 2 per person. I love them - they're even better in person.

We're having a photo booth so the photo strips will be our "favors." that along with the popcorn bar for late night snacks and the welcome bags at the hotel for out-of-town guests, I think we've got favors covered. Hate to say it but most people don't really care to hang on to many items with other people's initials, dates or names on them. I would suggest something edible or fun like photos, rather than something sitting in the cupboard or collecting dust on a shelf IMO.

EDIT: totally forgot we're having our seating chart with vintage key/bottle opener attached to their escort card, so that will act as their favor. it's not personalized, but in keeping with our theme, and they're small and easy to carry. we've got a lot of guests flying in, so we wouldn't be able to do anything fragile like a wine glass. besides, it has someone else's name on it.

I was going to do shot glasses because I collect shot glasses and wanted it to be something special to me. However, we have a lot of older family members so I might do candles as well.

I decided against favors, but we were gonna do personalized mini hot sauce bottles with stickers that said "Thank you for spicing up our day!" FH and I are obsessed with hot sauce and we are having a nacho bar.

I think this is also a "know your crowd" type of thing. The majority of our guests are rural, earthy types, so we did wildflower seed packets. Cheap, cute, and I'm hoping our guests will actually take and use them. WW opinion seems to heavily advocate edible favors or no favors, but I think it's ok to bend this a bit to your crowd.

I make my own beauty products and soap so I'm planning on making soaps with our initials or the wedding is a garden theme and I have a ton of tea cups so I may make tea cup succulents.

Depending on how much you cater to your guests on the wedding day I don't think it's criminal to skip on the favors. I was having a really hard time figuring out a cheap solution that people would actually want to take home. The last thing you want is to shell out a load of money on items only for them to be left on tables at the end of the night. I eventually opted for Krispy Kreme donuts! I got a bunch of really cute kraft paper bags from IvoryandSage Co on Etsy, they were personalized and said "Donut mind if I DO" with our names and wedding date on there. It was about $50 for 100 of the pouches and $80 for our donuts. And heck, if the guests end up leaving those on the tables I have plenty of family members willing to eat their abandoned favors.

Because we are doing a Greek wedding, we are going to have little bottles of authentic Greek olive oil with a little tag that says Thank You and has our wedding date! I'll post a picture when I put them together (its a DIY project lol)
