What are you doing for wedding favors? I was for sure going to do stemless wine glasses with personalized writing with our names and the wedding date on it, then lately I came to thinking I’m not too sure about it... Please help with ideas. Thank you 🥰

I've been reading a lot about skipping a wedding favor and donating to a charity in the names of the guests. Not a lot of people care or want the favor anyway. If you end up going this way, you'll be left with no leftovers, one set cost, and no forgotten and left behind favors. I think we will go this route for our day, because it fits us better than any trinket could.

You don't need favors, but if you want to I would defiantly do something edible. My mom is making macarons that we are putting 2 in a small box and giving one to eat person. You can also order them on this site, it's $5 a person for a box of 2.

LOL LOL girl great minds think alike. We opted to have a candy buffet table & gift bags so people can grab during the reception & take the candy bag home. we are having a send off after our after party so we are given bubbles, so i bought a bunch of these cute little bubble wands people can obviously have. and for all the children in our wedding, i print out activity book sets & brought crayon for them.

I love the candy buffet idea! I wish I had thought of that so I could use it.

We weren't going to do favors at all, but in our situation, we have a lot of people coming for the reception while we arrive from an extremely small (immediate family only, standing room only) ceremony. Because of this, we're going to put candies and nuts out on the tables, and we're calling it "favors" just for ease. I know it seems a little outdated and uncool..... very "my parents' wedding," but the nuts will be wrapped some sort of way to make them look cute on the table, and the candy is rock candy in deep purplish blue to coordinate with our celestial theme, which I thought was cool. And for those concerned, ( Smiley winking ) we are keeping TIGHT track of everyone's allergies, because my family is a land mine when it comes to medical food issues. I am pretty sure we don't have anyone with a tree nut allergy, though, so we figured they can munch on more than just sweets if they end up waiting 15 or so minutes!

I’m making personalized stainless steel wine glasses for each person with their name on it. It’s going to serve a 3-in-1. Favor, place setting, and their cup for the evening.

We have a local place on the boardwalk that is famous for their Carmel corn. It also happens to be my fh’s (and soon my) last name. So we’re doing individual tubs of Carmel corn.

We’re getting married in December, so we’re doing blankets. And I really don’t care if a bunch get left behind, because I always want more blankets 😂😂

We're going to do crab mallets with bottle openers on them. We'll attach the escort cards to them, so hopefully people will remember to grab them. I have a crab fest for my birthday party every year, so I don't mind having extras.

We’re doing character macarons in the shape of our shiba Inu and pug since we’ll be doing a destination wedding and they won’t be able to be there with us. So I figured incoorperaring them this way would be cute and so that our guest won’t have anothe extra thing to pack

We’re not doing any favors. I catered for a little bit in college to earn extra money and a lot of them get left behind; food or not. We will have plenty to do and I’d rather save the money for awesome food and dessert! On the other hand some of these ideas are super cute and well thought out so good for all you with coming up with such great ideas and not spending an arm and leg.

Cool idea! My grandma always put a scratcher ticket at our seats for every holiday, I don't know why I never thought of this.

These boxes sound SO cute- any chance you'd share the link? I am likely not doing favors and these wouldn't fit with anything else of our wedding but I love the idea of using them for crafts or gift boxes around holidays! 😍
Also your idea is also adorable, are you having a travel theme? The ideas for that are SO cute and I wish I could do one!!

I LOVE this! 😍 useful is tied with edible for me and everyone needs matches. I think I really love it, though, because my FH has a matchbox collection in a shadow box as decor in our home that he got as a gift and it looks really neat.

I already told the other girl who posted matchboxes the story why I love them but wanted to extend the compliment that I just LOVE the idea to you, too! 😄 such a cool choice, feelings so vintage to me!

We're doing leather luggage tags, in keeping with our DW, but not personalized just with the saying.
All of our family and friends that are coming travel so I'm sure they will be used. We're adding a tag inside for the table assignment but after they can remove and put their personal info on the insert card.
