We are doing something similar to this because I'm obsessed with plants. It's a favor and a table assignment. Not everyone will get one just the couple or family will be assigned one.

We are doing koozies, because I know a lot of people coming will actually keep them. But everyone here pretty much hits the nail on the head with this... most people won’t care if you skip favors altogether. They probably won’t even notice. A lot of them won’t care about a personalized item that has your names and wedding date on them and most of favors may even end left behind when the party’s over. Everyone loves food though, so something edible is always a good idea. The phrase “know your crowd” definitely comes in handy with this situation. That’s why I got koozies! I’m probably also going to do some type of edible to go alongside place cards at each table as well.

We gave away the centerpieces,we had a photo booth and looking back, I wish that I wouldve had cake boxes so that extra slices of cake could have gone home with guest of even us

We are doing a personalized shot glasses. However, we are also using theses favors as our seating assignments because we will have small flags coming out of the glasses with guests names and table numbers on them. This way guests might be more wanting to take them home because they were used as something else other than favors but then again if guests don't take them I wont feel like they were a waste because we used them as something else for our wedding as well.

We are doing little nutella jars! We also bought cute little spoons as well and got favor tags from zazzle.

We are just doing custom koozies. It seemed like the more affordable route. I know most of my family members uses them and will keep them. However, if they end up in the trash because lets be honest when someone doesn't spend their own money on something and they don't find any use for it- It will end up in the garbage well at least it wasn't something expensive. I paid $48 for 150 koozies. I got them in all three of my colors (50 mint, 50 peach, 50 navy) and my cousin is going to customize them.

I also recommend something edible. We aren’t sure what we are doing yet (if anything) but at my sister’s wedding they did cute pint glasses that had their names on it and at the end of the day they had an entire case of them leftover. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t have room for an extra 30 glasses in my cabinet when all was said and done.

My wedding is in the fall, October, and here in Michigan that's big-time apple orchard season, so i'm thinking about mini apple pies

We are trying to cut costs as far as favors. We’ve got a good bit of beer drinking, day drinkers coming so we’ll have some Koozies by the bar for people to take.

We did Ferrera Rocher golden snitches as our wedding favors.

I personally wouldnt be against having having a wine glass with someone else’s name on it, but I get why others may not. If you want to go that route, maybe make it something smaller? I had a cousin do shot glasses and my best friend did a candle holder. Easy to take and store.
