Wedding Favors

Shamasia, on May 6, 2019 at 8:11 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 9
I would like to give a nice favor for all who attend the wedding and was thinking of mini champagne bottles with my personal label on it. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

I'm trying to decide on favors as well. I really like your mini champagne bottle idea! For me my concern is that most people are flying, so I'm not sure if they can fly with unopened champagne.

We live in Arizona so I had the idea of mini succulent candles.

So far online I've seen key bottle openers, candy, bubbles, shot glasses, mugs, coasters, drink koozies, customized wine charms, a lot of stuff. I'm trying to think of what would be easiest for people to travel with lol.

I’m typically against favors unless they’re truly useful or edible. Otherwise, they just get left on the table and end up being a waste of money. But, in your case, mini champagne bottles are nice.

Were you seeking opinions on your favor idea? Or seeking suggestions for where to get mini champagne bottles?

Yummy but expensive. Favors aren’t really necessary these days so feel free to wait until you’ve planned/paid for a lot of your wedding before you decide. But edibles (or drinkables) are usually best! 🍾

If you're planning on putting your own personal label make sure it's something somebody wouldn't mind having in their home. Consider just having the date and a simple visual instead of your names. I have been to many weddings with personalized favors that were not my taste so they ended up being a waste on me.
We had a brunch wedding and or favors we custom coffee mugs with a motif and or date which was very small. Our guests still claim it now they're go to mug and many use them daily. Our large mugs were $5 each and were worth it for our wedding and guests who traveled from all over the world to be with us.

Oh I misread! Bottles of champagne are cute with labels, like a previous poster stated, consider under 4oz if you have people flying in and out.

That's a great idea. I could pull it off because there's no kids at our ceremony - consider your guest list - if there's children maybe offer a secondary gift. We personally are not doing favors. I asked my friends and they all agreed it was ok to skip it. So we put our money toward a caricature artist and they can take their drawings home as "favors."
