We're on a strict budget but I did find lifesaver mints with a small note that says "Mint to be" with the date on it.... I love it and they're in our price range... so we're going to place 10-15 on each table!

Yes but only because my mother offered to take care of it all for us! We love to travel. We are having a beach destination wedding, and we got engaged in Africa, so she found and ordered these tiny globes that you fill with candy (which we will probably fill with mini saltwater taffy (FH Fav & Cute because of the beach w/o a tacky "beach theme") they will say "you mean the world to us" with a heart and our names. Something inexpensive and easy to give away! We would have done more, but we are having wedding welcome bags for each of our guests as well and are still on a budget

Yes, we just haven't decided what yet. We were thinking of playing cards or drink cozies

We are very much back and forth with the favors idea. Right now, we are thinking of doing cider donuts to go with our fall wedding, since they are edible and we know they won't go to waste! Plus, they are SO yummy!

What seller if you don’t mind? I was going to include mints in welcome bags and that sounds too cute

We are experimenting with different kinds of paint pens at the moment. The sharpie oil based ones seem to write smoothly but we need to get the same kind of shell to see how well it stays on. And if all else fails regular sharpies. I got a part time job at Michaels in part for the discount on all this very important stuff.

I haven't really given this much thought. I've seen it done at other wedding that I've been in so we'll see.

We were thinking of doing something similar! Would love to do this because we are both chocoholics and plus I really love the idea of an edible favor.

I find favors a waste of money and people tend to leave them behind. I'm doing welcome bags for our guest as is a destination wedding with helpful information and some goodies they can use during their stay. I rather spend the money on this as it also serves as favors... in a way.

I like the idea of wine as favors. A friend of mine had them and left them at the tables, so we ended up drinking them when they were doing the introductions and whatnot when the bar was closed.

However, I also think it can be very costly, especially if you’re having a large wedding. In lieu of favors, my sister and cousin both had signs at their weddings stating that a donation was made to a charity instead. They both chose charities that had meaning to them, and although I know it was not a small amount, it was definitely cheaper than favors, and the money was much better spent! Furthermore, if you really don’t have a lot to spend, it’s a good way to get around doing favors while still doing a good dead.

We're having a fall wedding, so I think it'd be nice to include a little personalized jar of apple butter. But if we actually do this or not, is still up in the air. I do know I would put it on every plate because I know no one will take it when they leave, if it is off of a table.
