    My ceremony dress is my Grandma's and is a golden champagne (the white of the day when she married plus a bit of deepening from age) but as it is 78 years old the fabric is super fragile so I also have a reception dress that I dont have to worry about ruining which is a lighter ivory. I'm so pale pure white makes me look too washed out and sickly so just the hint of more golden tones makes it look like I have more life - and I'm the same skin depth as my Grandma was so the same color looks perfect on us both and it looks white on me - especially with the antique gold embroidery.

    I surprised myself and went with ivory. I was imagining pale grey or blush but the dress I loved was ivory!

    I have always dreamed of a gorgeous white dress...so I went white :-) A wedding Ivory, but basically white. I am so excited to wear it!!

    I would have loved to have done colorful. I was on the hunt for a light blue dress, but lack of options made me go white
