Wedding dress: White, ivory, champagne, or ....?

Honestly, I prefer colored dresses. My dress came in pink but I was too scared to order it without seeing the color in person because I'm so pale that most colors wash me out. I think a black dress would be bad ass.

One of my pet peeves when watching SYTTD is when brides want a colored dress but the MOB or another family member freaks out about color. Specifically, the episode where the bride wants a Grace Kelly dress in black and they find an amazingly beautiful dress but the MOB calls her "devil child". Seriously.... wearing white wedding gowns is actually a pretty new tradition. Not to mention, it's the BRIDE's dress, not yours.

I wish I'd known blush dresses were a thing before I found mine. They all look so dreamy to me.

My dress is champagne with an ivory lace overlay.

I like ivory/off-white. I also really liked champagne and blush on me while trying on dresses but in the end I think I will end up buying ivory/off white.

I had to go with ivory. White made me look too pale.

Ivory is my fav. I also really like blush but it didn't go with my wedding theme

I really wanted something that was champagne, old, or blush but the dress I love ended up being ivory. It looks white to me though.

Love my red dress. i tried a white and ivory one just to make sure i wanted to rock color, and i look horrible in white and ivory.

I love ivory.. I went in wanting ivory, but I left with white. So I also love white lol.

Depends on skin tone. Ivory looks best me with my awesome mix of Irish and Native American heritage. I have this weird olive/golden/pink thing going on. White on me just looks awful.

In my dreams: anything but white- or any color in that family. no white- no ivory- no champagne- no blush. Nothing pale.

I'll have a better idea come December though when we go fabric shopping.

Mine is Ivory. I never needed a specific color though. I just happened to try that dress on and love it.

White. I had a dress originally that I got off of Tradesy that was ivory. The color bothered me so badly that I ended up getting a completely brand new dress that is white!

Sold the tradesy dress though! yay!

I always assumed I was going to wear ivory until I started looking around online at dresses and I really liked the champagne and other similar colors. My dress is champagne with an ivory lace overlay on the top. I just went for my first fitting last night and was looking through the racks while I was waiting and every dress that caught my attention was champagne.

I'm doing ivory. I tried white and my skin just looked way too pink.
