Wedding Dress Undergarments

I’m looking for the right undergarments for my dress. It’s been in for a couple weeks and I haven’t made my fitting appointment because I don’t know what to wear underneath. I was looking for a tummy tucker, strapless, low back one piece, but I’m not sure I can find something like that. My dress is also white and I’ve only seen black and nude when I look. Can get wear something nude? Is there a good undergarment someone can recommend? I really need to order something soon so I can make my appointment.

    Your best bet is probably to go to a specialty bra store. Do you have any of those by you? I'm not talking like Soma or VS. I'm talking like small business that specializes in out of the box needs...

    Nude would work but I can't picture anything that would tuck in the tummy that wouldn't show in the back. I'm sure one of the experienced ladies here will know though!

    Oh! Are you supposed to get undergarments before making alterations on your dress? How do you know what you need until you try the dress on in your size once it comes in? Smiley atonished

    When the store called me they told me to have my undergarments and shoes for the first appointment. They need to fit it to what you will be wearing on your wedding day.

    That’s one I looked at but I wasn’t sure how comfortable the thing back would be. Seems like all of them like that have the thong.

    Actually went with a different undergarment that was almost the same. Plunging corset in the front with low back. Had my seamstress sew it into my dress and it worked great.
