I've thought about but I'm scared too! But here's how I feel about all the negative experiences versus the positive. People are most likely to complain than boast about an experience. This is just an observation I've made. People are much quicker to complain that something went wrong but not near as quick to compliment. Just because there's more horror stories than not, doesn't mean there's more bad experiences than positive. Just means people aren't talking about the positive as much! Anyway...just my take on that! I got mine from a website based in China. I saw the picture, fell in love with it, and figured that for the price it was worth the risk (less than £150, including postage!!).

When it turned up it was even better than I expected and I'm soooooo glad I ordered it when I saw it as they don't do that style any more.

I haven't worn the dress yet, so there is still a chance the seams will fall apart or something, but it seems really well made, is fully lined with a netted skirt (which I was expecting to have to buy separately) and the material is much nicer than I thought it might be.

I'll be getting the bridesmaids' dresses from the same place.

I think it is always going to be a risk, but sometimes taking a risk pays off!

I ordered mine off ebay from a Chinese company I haven't received it yet so I am hoping it is what I want it wasn't very expensive at al but guess by the end of the month I should have it and I will see

The success stories from the Chinese knockoff sites are very few and far between. Look at the links that I posted before. There are some awesome brides on here who really wish they listened and/or thought twice before buying online.

Why give yourself additional stress in HOPING your dress comes out ok instead of just going to a proven retailer or designer?

We stress enough during wedding planning over things that are out of our control. I'm not adding to it with something I can control with the decision that I make.

I ordered mine online from BHLDN. I love it. I felt better about ordering because of their great return policy, and because they are a reputable store.

I was looking at Lightinthebox.com or Simply Bridal. I also looked at David's Bridal online but I'm going into the store for an appt to actually try dresses on and get my measurements.

I know several people that have used inweddingdress.com with a lot of success. And it ha a 15 day return policy! I may try it

I bought my dress at www.dazzlebride.com as well as my bridemaids dress. Everything arrived in time, and the sizes fit. The team was extremely helpful.
