You look stunning!!! I think that’s a really awesome dress that is fancy enough for the ceremony and looks like you can still have a ton of fun at the reception.
I totally understand having second thoughts- I’m definitely having those with my dress.

    I think it's beautiful!

I guess it depends on a number of factors. Do you have the budget for it, and what do you want a second dress for? Something more casual/easy to dance in? Something you can eat more comfortably in? A dramatic quick change? Will the dresses you're looking at offer any of these things?

If you can afford it, and it offers flexibility/comfort/whatever that your first dress doesn't, then sure! Go ahead!

If you can afford it and it doesn't offer those things, maybe consider what it is that you feel is missing from your current dress.

And, if you can't afford it, then I would say you don't need a second dress, there's nothing wrong with this one which looks so gorgeous on you - but again, if there is something that feels to be missing, there are plenty of ways you could add to this dress that would be more cost-effective than a second dress - a sparkly belt, some off the shoulder chiffon sleeve-type things, or with accessories like your jewellery, shoes and veil.

Argh tiktok is so addictive, so I totally hear you! Maybe take a break from looking at dresses, and remember why you picked yours - it' hard when you're bombarded with beautiful things every day - there will always be a prettier/better/different/cheaper/more dramatic dress, after all!

I think that if the dresses are radically different in style, then you can take two. Also, a second dress is taken if the dress for the ceremony is not so comfortable to spend a long time in it

I made myself quit looking at wedding dresses after I bought mine, because I kept thinking, "Ooo I wish mine had that!". But I do love my dress and am choosing to just be happy with it!

Or you can use a crinoline underskirt and remove it for reception makes a significant difference

Some unconventional advice: I say go shopping for another dress. If you are going back and forth, it sounds like there is "something missing". I also advocate for a second dress if in case something happens to the first: Tear, grass/wine stain, alterations gone wrong and you can't get a duplicate in time, etc.

My two cents. I have my dress and a back up dress.

I’m adding a crinoline underskirt to give it the poof i want and removable sleeves so it’s not a strapless for the church.
