Wedding dress dilemma

Chaquanda, on November 16, 2016 at 12:29 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17

Hello ladies! This is my very first post! So I'm wondering if anyone has bought a wedding dress made of crepe. Was it see through and did it make you hot? Also, I'm considering buy a dress that has lace in the front. While taking pictures, did your pads show or did you go braless or did you add cups? Below is the picture of the dress I am considering. Oh the dress I'm considering is essense of Australia d2124. Thank you!

My dress is not crepe, but I have used it before in costumes and worn it on many occasions. It is a beautiful fabric, but as it is usually a synthetic, it doesn't breathe any better than most synthetic fabrics. It does have a nice drape and flow that you don't see in most other fabrics though.

I am going to wear a stick on bra with my dress (I have a completely open back). I wasn't able to go braless because it gave me saggy boob issues, and sewing in cups didn't really seem like a good solution after I spoke to my seamstress. I would ask your alterations person though because it might work for you!

The dress is beautiful!! It fits you amazingly.

That dress is fab! I work at a bridal shop, and we carry this dress. Crepe tends to be see-through (shoot for seamless thong or to go commando). Does wrinkle as well but is easy to steam. More breathable than satin. You will see the cups though.
