Does anyone have experience from getting their wedding gown professionally wet cleaned?

I would contact the store where you purchased your dress and ask what they would suggest.

If you are having it preserved (boxed) it is really important that all the stains come out.

My mom pulled out her dress after 20+ years and there was a huge yellow stain where she dropped a margarita on her wedding day. She had it cleaned originally but they only got out the surface stain and not the sugar in the fabric. She had to get it re-cleaned by a specialist.

It's not a huge industry so you may have to send it out to be cleaned and preserved.

    Hi Rachel Smiley smile

As Lauren advised, I would also recommend you reach out to the bridal store where you bought the dress and ask them to recommend somewhere to get your dress wet cleaned. They are likely to know somewhere trusted from their experience that could handle the job!

Some store even offer cleaning and preserving services themselves Smiley smile

Will you get your dress preserved also?
