Can I get a quality wedding dress for $1,000 with taxes and everything included? Maybe drop pictures? Need inspiration. Thanks! 😊

    I would say absolutely!

My wedding dress was, I believe $699. It does require alterations which I'm assuming will be anywhere from $100 - $300 (I go in to the shop where I'm getting my dress altered next January) so I'll be around that $1,000 mark!

My dress budget was $1000. I found the perfect dress for $1000, what I didn’t account for were alterations. I ended up playing $500 for alterations 😳

I got mine for $800 at David's Bridal before alterations, so about $1000 after the bustle was thrown on 😊 I added the sleeves for $20 from a local tailor.

Thank you! The one off the rack was my size so I was able to walk out with it same-day, but I added a corset back so even if I gained weight (which I did 😭) it would fit.

I wont share a picture because I'm keeping it 100% a secret but my dress ( me being a size 18) was around $700-$750 and fits like a glove. All I have to do is have a bustle added. Which according to my research can be up to like $300 so I would say a $1,000 budget is doable also depending on where you live and what's around you!

This is why I was afraid of shopping at DB and why when I did go, I didn't buy anything. The alterations I would of had to have done were insane.

Totally doable! My budget as a little higher, but not by much and I tried on plenty that were under or at 1000.

Yes! You definitely can girl! 💕 mine was from David’s and only paid $590 for it with taxes included. If you need alterations though (& you got your dress from them) I recommend to just go with a trusted seamstress to save you more money.

There's this site that sells pre-owned designers wedding dresses if you don't mind that. Sometimes they have unworn ones because either the seller called the wedding off or weren't able to use their wedding dresses and bridal shops don't do returns: https://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/affordable-wedding-dresses

Mine was worth 1800 but i got for 1200 after taxes! So for 200 less, i'm sure you have a bit of options!
