Yes! But it can be hard sometimes depending on what you're looking for. Try sample sales when the bridal lines change out. Otherwise Facebook marketplace, thrift stores, and there's several used wedding dress sites online that deeply discount designer dresses. Be sure to budget for alterations- they add up. I got mine on a sample sale!

Mine was $950 total purchased from Camille La Vie, formerly groupUSA, I highly recommend checking them out even if they are a little far from you. Mine was one of the higher priced dresses they have, most are around $700 and are amazing quality.

Mine was from David's Bridal, on sale for $500. Alterations brought the cost up to about $800, since it was a beast to hem and bustle. It's not as fancy as a lot of the dresses I see on here, but I'm a fan.

The blush dress is the one I got, the others are a few I tried on. The one I got was the most expensive, but before tax it was less than 900. The 2nd one that was being held up to me was only about 500. I don't know where you are located, but I went to a few quince shops as well as one small bridal shop.

My dress hasn't come in yet. But try coco melody. If your on fb take a look at thier page coco melody tips and reviews. They also offer where you can have dresses to try on before buying. Absolutely affordable.

Yes you totally can! I got mine at Wedding Day Dress for Less Boutique in Green Bay, WI and all dresses there are discontinued brand new for $500 or less. Added the belt and veil but still need to do some minor alterations. Good luck!

I got my dress on Amazon, on sale, for $99. It is almost an exact replica to a Maggie Soterro dress I tried on and fell in love with, but based on our wedding budget I couldn't drop the $1800 that the original dress was and feel good about it. When I was looking online to see if it was discounted anywhere, I found my Amazon dress.

Alterations will be a bit more than that, as I need to have it shortened (I'm a short 5'2), taken in on the sides, and a bustle created. I'm taking it to my seamstress since she actually specializes in formal and wedding dresses (I use her for all of my formal and work wear and she's amazing!), so I know the alterations will be a bit cheaper than a bridal shop, but still good quality.

Do some searching...you can ALWAYS find a deal, a sale, a pre-owned, a replica or even just THE dress, it might just take some time and research.

I went to David's bridal and told them a budget under $500 for the dress to keep everything under $1k. Here is my near final break down of my budget with tax alterations everything rounded to the nearest dollar. Most everything is coming from David's bridal as far as the bridal attire. The bridesmaids dresses I am looking for floor length under a hundred.

    Dress: $432 on a sale (20% off)
Veil and Headpiece $210 on sale buy one get half off
    Alterations: $230
I have yet to do garter / veil weights and panty hose. I am expecting to keep this under 100 though

Shoes are my every day nice brown ballet flats

Tip on alterations at David's bridal. All dresses that are a regular are made for women to be a height of 5'7-5'8. It can be $300 plus. So pro tip if you can... Adjust the shoes and not the hem. Wear 4 in heels if you're about 5'4 and it will cost you 3x less and be faster. Also never try on a dress that is over budget. Don't look at it. Don't think about it. It will end in pain and tears either if you buy it or if walk away from it.
