wedding dress anxiety...not filling the top of dress

Summerbridejen, on June 2, 2014 at 11:27 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7

I know it hasnt been altered yet but I am having anxiety. The dress I love it and fits but I DONT fit the boob area in the slightest. So because theres boning there I have non filled boobs that look like madonna pointy boobs. When I tried on the size below the rest was to tight and the boob area was great. I actually thought it was a defect in the dress and when i got a replacement its not the dress I realized..How do they tailor the dress with the boning curved on it and no boob to fill it?The top looks awful…im bringing it to a expert seamstress tommorow but Im so nervous!!

I think most dresses are made with the same cup size, and there are some things included that will allow it to be altered for smaller or bigger women.

My dress is also HUGE in the "bodice" but I know I can't be the first lady with small boobies that my seamstress has ever met, so surely she will be able to fix it!

No need to worry-- it will be fixed and look great on you!

Care Bear is right a good seamstress can do wonders, but what they will most likely do, is cut the boning down or remove it completely and put padding there instead or put boning in that isn't so stiff. She may take it in on the sides which will help the pointy ness. It will be okay after she looks at it, and has you put it on to see the issues she will fix it, have you come back to put it on again for any adjustments. Don't be nervious it will be okay.

I have Madonna boobs too!!!! My second fitting is tomorrow. My seamstress tried to brush me off last time and I don't know what to do. Should I take out the boning?!?!
