Hey All,

Question. My fiance and I currently live in Ohio but are looking to move to Florida (where we are getting married) before or around our June wedding. We are not wanting to register for gifts that we would have to take with us, not knowing where we are going to be living, the amount of space we will have, etc.

I have seen online wedding donation websites and was wondering if anyone has tried these and or what people think of them (classy or trashy kind of thing). I don't want people to feel like they have to give us money but it would be helpful with our planning to move from Ohio to Florida.

    Personally, i wouldn't do the site. It seems a little.... i don't know what. In my experience, people tend to just throw cash/check/whatever in a card anyway.

    Just don't create an actual gift registry, and people should get the hint Smiley winking

    There is honeyfund.com, where you can register (you put in things you are saving for and people can give money)...but honestly IMO, people like to give actual gifts for showers...and money for weddings. It's just how it is...

    Thanks all!! I was thinking it was a little... I don't know either but I was given the idea by a friend and felt uncomfortable doing it. APPRECIATE the advice!
