Wedding details
I met Brandon the summer going into my 8th grade year. His best friend lived next door to my best friend so I saw him all the time. It started out with him letting me ride his bike to the creamy whip and then he started asking me to go swimming with him. We were boyfriend and girlfriend the entire summer but it ended because he was going into high school and I was only in middle school. Time went on and we bumped into each other again when I entered high school. I would pass him in the hallway and I always knew there was a spark between us! As time went on we began to hang out with mutual friends and eventually we started dating again. He took me to his proms and we were inseparable. He had a huge family who welcomed me with open arms. My junior year of high school I became pregnant with our son Bryant. We were afraid of what the future held for us but were able to make it through with the support of our loving family. I graduated high school a year and a half early and had my son in 2004. We bought our first house and started college. I was able to graduate and Brandon worked full-time to help support our family. Things became very stressful for us and we were young so we decided to sell our house and take some time apart. Brandon and I were great friends throughout the time we took apart and raised our amazing son together. Brandon and I always hung out together and went on dates but took the time apart to make sure that we were ready to be together and did not break-up again. Last year we decided to jump back in with both feet. We have never seen our son as happy as he is now that we are back together and I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. The time we took apart help our love to go stronger for one another and deeper. On April 2, 2011 Brandon proposed to me. He listened to my request to not take me to a fancy dinner or on a carriage ride. I wanted to be surprised and not suspect a thing. The evening he proposed had been a long day full of both of our family’s birthday parties and that evening we planned on going out with my sister. We both got ready and as we were walking out the door Brandon said wait I'll be right back. I left the house and walked to my car. Brandon began waving for me to come back into the house but I said no and rolled up my window. He continued waving and I got out of the car, dragging my feet, and walked in and asked him what he wanted. He asked me what ring do you have on? I looked at him like really you just called me in here for that and I said the one that I always wear (he got me a promise ring when we were 15 and I always wear it on my ring finger) well he grabbed my hand and took the ring off and said would you rather wear this one as he hands me a Zales box. I started crying for about 20 minutes or so and he just held me and asked if I would marry him!!! It was one of the most amazing nights of my life and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him.

Does anyone else have dress regret? I am not getting married until October 2013 and I have already purchased my dress. Don't get me wrong, I love my dress, I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. I am just worried that I am going to find another one...
