  So our story is not your typical story.  Adam and I met each other online.  This site called Plenty of Fish. I never thought those online sites worked but we are the result of it working.  I remember getting on the site one day and saw i had a message from this guy Adam.  Well his main photo was of him and three other buddies so it was hard to say which one was him, but they all looked like a cute group of nerds :).  We messaged back and forth on the site for awhile before we decided to exchange numbers and started talking on the phone.  We spent hours talking on the phone back and forth with each other.  I felt like i had known him forever.  We connected instantly and there was never a dull moment in our conversation.  After a few weeks of talking on the phone we decided to meet in person for our first date. Our first date was the night before thanksgiving.  We decided to meet at the bowling alley for our first date (nice public place, just in case).  I can remember when i pulled into the parking lot; little did i know he was right in front of me.  From talking to him i never expected to see him get out of a foreign sports car.  He always seems more like a truck man to me. I later found out the reason for the sports car.   From the photos i had seen of him i was expecting a nerd, well he was defiantly a nerd, and still is today.  But a very handsome nerd at that.  So out of this sports car comes this guy standing about 5' 7" tale maybe 170lbs wearing a white and blue affliction shirt and faded blue jeans.  He gave me the impression that he was some country boy, well me being a city girl he looked like every other city boy i had meet.  Looked like being the key word.  We bowled a few games and talked all night long.  It was like talking to someone i had known my whole life.  We realized more and more that we had so much in common.  It seemed like neither of us wanted that night to end.  But we kissed goodnight and headed home. I can remember lying in bed that night wondering if i had been dreaming.  Was it possible to meet someone so amazing, someone you connected with on such a close level?  Was it possible to feel so close to someone you just meet?  Well weather it was possible or not i was feeling it.   The weeks went by and we continued to talk on the phone and hang out as much as we could.  Adam was on winter break from school so we had a lot of free time.  We spent hours talking on the phone getting to know each other.   And on Christmas Eve hanging out with family he quietly asked me to be his girlfriend.  We were already acting like boyfriend and girlfriend so that just made it official, i guess.   No here is where the story gets a little weird.  So we never really got engaged pre-say, or at least what people would think of as getting engaged.  We started talking about getting married early in the year of 2012.  We had been talking about it for awhile and one day while we were on the computer we started looking at venues and photographers.  And here we are months later, we have a date set and Save-The-Date cards mailed out.  Who says you need some big proposal.  We both decided we wanted to get married and went from there.  I not only found the love of my love but i found my best friend.  We can talk about anything and everything with each other. I can't wait until the day i can call him my husband.  Adam and I have a whole life time ahead of us and i can't wait to see where life will take us.
