Wedding Deodorant Suggestion?

Mrs.Goose, on March 26, 2015 at 4:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 32

I'm curious what everyone is doing for deodorant for the wedding day. Sticking with your normal brand? Something stronger?

My one thing is I get overheated suppppper quickly and don't want to have to worry about deodorant that won't do it's job! I'm curious what everyone else is thinking and what you think works best!

Bonus: Cat meme!

Didn't really think to hard on it. Just my normal dove deodorant will do just fine. Smiley smile

Following! I def don't want to use my normal one, but I should probably start experimenting now. I might try something other than a regular solid. Mine always gets all balled up when I get sweaty (which will definitely happen)...lovely, I know...

What ever you do, be sure to use it for a week straight and be sure it does what you want it to. Apply before exercising, beach day, or when you run errands. You want to make sure it doesn't 'bleed' into your clothes, leave stains, or even irritate your skin!

I sweat excessively anyway - so sometimes I use the liquid that you put on the night before and use regular deodorant during the day - the effects seem to last a couple of days. I can't remember the name of the nightly one - but then i use Arm and Hammer during the day - unscented. I don't want to be smelling a deodorant smell on my wedding day at all. Works pretty well - probably will stick with that for the wedding but use the heavy duty stuff a few nights in a row before the wedding day. (The excess chemicals freak me out - but sweating is pretty embarrassing...)

I use Dove men's deodorant. It works better than all the girly ones I've tried.

I use certain dri at night before bed, and my moh brought some dry spray on deodorant, I think it was degree. It was AMAZING. It went on totally dry so I didn't have to worry about anything.

I use Dove Invisible Solid and it works very well for me. I can also apply lots of coats and it doesn't leave a residue under my arm pits. I used to sweat a lot before my thyroid calmed down and that is what I used

My bridesmaid told me not to forgot spray deodorant (like Dove brand) for under the dress. That no matter what you do it will get sweaty down there! I was like ooooo myyyy would have never thought about that.

I use Degree every day, but when I get nervous, I sweat. I don't want to have stinky pits. ): I will try the men's deoderant and see how it works for a long day of work + after school coaching. If it works after a 15 hour day, then it should work for the wedding!

I use clinical strength on an every day basis, it is the only thing that works for me. i don't care weather is secret, dove, or another brand as long as its clinical strength. will wear that on the wedding day and have it with me in case i need to reapply!

Anyone else give themselves a cursory sniff reading this thread? Haha.

I was thinking of just using my regular Nivea. Seems to work well.

I had an issue finding a deodorant that worked for a while but then I tried one called Mitchum clinical strength and it was absolutely amazing. I have never had a problem since! I don't need to reapply it part way through the day. I put it on once in the morning and it lasts no matter how sweaty I get! I would really recommend you get it and try it out to see how it works on you! Side note: the liquid or gel or whatever feels really gross (it stays wet) and I won't use it. I use the solid one. Also, I have noticed it will turn white and get little "clumps" if I put it on when my underarms are still wet but if I put it once when they have fully dried I have no problems at all!

Another thing to consider is powder! I'm going to use baby powder around my underarms and bra line because that'll keep my dress and crinoline from rubbing against my body too badly. When applied under the arms, powder works in conjunction with deodorant to absorb moisture.

I have to remember the spray for my legs. For my arm pits I am not sure yet. Normally I use degree motion sense that works for the most part but I normally am very sweaty
