At the end of a two-year work assignment in Russia, I moved back to my home state of Michigan to write novels and look for a good Mid-western man. Less than a year after I got home, Doug and I met on Match.com. On Valentine's Day 2014, we met face-to-face for the first time. What a man! From the first, he's been a sweetheart and a gentleman. He supports my life goals and is so affectionate. It wasn't long before we knew we had found our other. Doug proposed on December 20, 2014 at Canterbury Village. Under the Christmas lights an the night sky, I said "Yes!" and became the luckiest girl in the world. Our wedding will be held in Frankenmuth (Little Bavaria) on May 15, 2015. Friends are coming from as far away as California to witness us say our vows. Have I mentioned that I'm crazy about this man? He's the love of my life. I traveled the world and never met a man who could hold a candle to him. Now I'm blessed enough to have found THE ONE so close to home. I can't wait to say "I DO!"
