I found vases and mirrors for my centerpieces on Facebook marketplace, flowers for DIY centerpieces and bouquets from Amazon and Michael's, linens and other pieces also from Amazon, and I got a faux garland for my alter from hobby lobby! You just have to shop around!

Hobby Lobby when they have their 50% off sales, Facebook Marketplace has some great used items from brides who just want to get rid of extra wedding decor, Sam's Club has good deals on flowers, Amazon is great for things like cake toppers, fake flowers, runners, candels fake or real , the Dollar Store is awesome for things like burlap, balloons, vases, foam for fake flowers, and beads/rocks/ colored sand and party favors, Etsy is great for personalized things (shipping is a pain though since it ranges per item $3-$15) Good luck Smiley smile

Are you going to diy any yourself? I'm doing alot on my own. If you are, I'd say search pinterest and google for things you want to make/do and then search for needed materials.

The 1st 4 pics are my pinterest saves of things I wanted to/am going to make. I didnt want the lanterns, but loved the fabric ideas in the oak tree. I bought my metal yard stakes from dollar tree for $1 each (they were $26/4pack at walmart which was the next cheapest I could find).

I bought my tulle for the oak trees on eBay for $11. Plain white fabric was super expensive, like $5/yd so I went with tulle and my FMIL is sewing small fishing weights on the backside aand then going to do bead work on the front of each bottom to hide the fishing weights. These will keep it from flying all over.

I also bought some foam roses, like lings moments, off eBay and I can't even tell they aren't Lings. They were only $6.99 for 50.

I bought my Ball Mason Jars from Michael's on sale for $1/each. I also bought the embroidery hoops for the hanging lace decor pictured above from Michael's. I think it was a 3 pack of embroidery hoops for $4.

I bought the lace for embroidery hoops off Ebay (it came from china and took about 3 weeks to come in) but it cost less than 75cents. It was like $10/yd at Michael's.

I hit up Joanns and Michael's frequently and have caught 2 great sales. Last week Joanne's was running buy one get 2 free on certain artificial flowers.

I also found the flowers I wanted for me and bridesmaids bouquets on Etsy. They are Sola Wood Flowers. When i was serving through the shop i noticed that there was a listing for '60 RIP Flowers' for $19.99- these were flowers that weren't perfectly shaped, had a small piece of bark on them, or were fine but for whatever reason got thrown in the 'junk' pile but could be reshaped when dyeing them.

I also bought small milk jars from $ tree for a buck.

I've bought things off Amazon, eBay & Etsy. I've also shopped Joanns, Michael's, Dollar Tree, Tractor Supply & Roses. I'm not sure if Rose's is nationwide or not, I've never seen another except for the town I work in, but they have awesome finds on stuff.

Oh, also, I didnt realize $ tree had a website, so check that out too. They have stuff on their that isnt in store and I'm pretty sure they offer free shipping to store.

The last 2 pics are if my DIY boutonnieres and part of my other decorations.

Luckily I've always wanted a rustic chic wedding (even before it was 'in style'), so my decor is supposed to look a little mishappened. But alot will depend on what style of wedding your going for.

Hopefully this helps you out some!

Yep, and what she said about FB marketplace... especially when you find a groom who was left in charge of selling. They're always like "$15 for everything" lol

I joined about 6 different local Facebook groups for buying/selling used wedding stuff. It's seriously amazing, just like the garage sale groups but with only wedding stuff. I highly recommend searching Facebook groups with your city+wedding!

My future mother in law told me that Hobby Lobby wedding stuff is 50% off one week, full price the next. It's an every other week thing.

I have found some great stuff at Party City and need to go back.

Your embroidery hoop photo just gave me such a great idea to pay tribute to my dad. He passed away just before I got engaged and it’s been so hard to come up with the right way to recognize him at the wedding. He was an embroiderer and made bolts of gorgeous laces that I was trying to find a use for, and this is IT! I’m so grateful you shared!

I’d say, it depends on what you are looking for. Sometimes you can get silk florals from dollar store which are way cheap. Michaels and hobby lobby are my go to stores. If you have a lot of time on your hand I would suggest use the “Wish” app for some cute decor stuff. I’d say know your wedding timeline coz, things ordered on wish can almost take forever
