😂 Girl that cake! I am a baker too, doing my own cake, small, since half of the family doesn't like sweets 🙄. But the one thing I'm really scared of is his family getting drunk and being utterly extra and just ruining it for me and embarrassing me...

I have so many fears tbh but some of the bigger ones are not getting everything set up in time, things looking tacky or cheap, and unexpected/uninvited guests

My fear is that my FMIL, who really loves attention, will be loud and obnoxious and have all eyes on her at the reception. My literal nightmare (I've had it at least 5 times) is that me, my FW, all of our BP and family, somehow forget that it's our wedding day and don't realize until guests start calling us around the start time to see if they're at the right venue since we aren't there lol.

I had a nightmare that we couldn't get to the ceremony! No streets or roads led to the venue. It was awful!!!!

The literal nightmare I've woken up from several times is that my bridesmaids won't make it in time. Half of them are from out of town, my 2 sisters and my niece, and they are all flying in only the day before....
My fear that keeps coming up is that we will be surrounded by rude, drunk people. The majority of FHs family are alcoholic, and we will have an open bar. Most of them I'm confident in their ability to stay civil, but there are about 3 people off the top of my head that I think will cause lots of problems and drama when they get alcohol in their system.

My fear is inviting too many people/having too many show up. I’ve explained my anxieties to my mom (who is paying for the wedding) but she still thinks inviting 30-40 over the maximum number for the venue is fine.

I've had the forgetting it's my wedding day one too! I spend the rest of the dream running around trying to get ready and giving up and going grocery shopping instead. Lol!

Oh jeez.. 😅 family drama which was a problem at my cousins wedding a few years back. The weather. Timing of getting ready, photos, etc not working out. Our ceremony space being overcrowded since we’re close to capacity on that. Spilling something on my dress (at least before the ceremony/pics afterwards whatever happens happens). Lol I have to stop now, I’m getting myself all worked up

In my waking hours, my fears are my dress not fitting, my outside ceremony getting rained out, and that it ends up being so hot that everything gets rushed. My sleeping nightmares all seem to be about forgetting things: my dress, to have a hair and makeup trial, where the ceremony venue is, etc.

I’m also a baker. That is one thing that I did not want to do, my own cake. I have coworkers coming and my fiancé’s roommate is also a baker so they are the ones making it for me. I’m afraid if the caterer not having enough food...

All of this for me too!!! especially the unexpected guests. Whether that be people who never RSVPd or unexpected plus ones. Like what if they don’t have anywhere to sit? And then not enough food for everyone? 😭

Ugh I don’t even want to imagine it! My venue charges $50 for every extra person over 40 people and we’re doing no kids so I’m panicked over what if someone shows up with them?!

Allergic reaction to the food, myself or one or my guests. We have so many food allergies in a small group of people it makes me nervous.
That and my fiance is rather self conscious about his weight and his family comments on it all the time, I know it'd just ruin the whole day if they said something. I'm hoping to keep them busy enough so they don't have time to think.

I've had nightmares of photographers cancelling last minute, the cake being all wrong, & some people not being able to come. Yay anxiety...

My biggest fear is walking out to the church and no one being there. IDK why this has been my biggest worry through out this process. I just want it to be a good day.

People drinking too much. But I have an amazing bar and I am going to just ask them to cut people off if needed and to try to make the drinks light on alcohol. Hopefully that’s all I have to worry about

My recurring nightmare is that my vendors either don’t show up, or are very late. Last night my hair/makeup person showed up while guests were arriving, and no one would help me into my dress! The photographer claimed we didn’t have a contract, and the day of coordinator was MIA. Worst dream ever.

I’m less than five months out now and all I ever think about is wedding stuff it seems. I dream about wedding stuff almost every single night. Sometimes they are amazing dreams and everything is perfect! But most of the time... full blown nightmares!! Fiancé breaks up with me and calls off the wedding, the cake gets demolished during delivery, can’t fit into my wedding dress the morning of, wedding dress is too loose because I’ve lost too much weight since last fitting, the photographer or videographer just doesn’t show up, it rains, etc. I live in Charleston, SC and I’m getting married during hurricane season, so I have nightmares about that, too! 😳😳😳😳 I can’t wait for this day to be over with! Lmao. I’m so excited for it, but it’s consuming my every thought these days!

What a good post. | am so worried that either hardly anyone will show up or too many people. I am also really nervous about the budget. I have enough money but what if something comes up or more people show then expected? Do I have to find some extra dollars the day of my ceremony at $50 a person? YIKES. Very scary. I am also worried my twin sister wont make it and she is my MOH. She is working that day and has taken multiple days off this year for just about anything..kids field trip, ex coworkers birthday, mental health days, car repairs you name it. But can't take the day off for me. Smh. Very annoying. She better be there on time I swear! lol
