Wedding Day Checklist - Random Things

Amanda, on September 19, 2017 at 11:27 AM Posted in Planning 0 15

Hi ladies, I'm 10 days away!

I'm such a worst case scenario thinker. Aside from the dress, marriage license, jewelry, lingerie, extra makeup, shoes and anything else outfit related for the wedding, what type of random things do you suggest bringing? Or what did you wish you had brought but didn't?

Bobby pins? Safety pins? Chapstick? I want to be prepared!

I'm going to get a small first aid kit, just in case I need bandaids or something. Probably bobby pins and safety pins would be a good idea. Water! Contact list for vendors.

Set aside all your vendor tips in labeled envelopes, that way you or a designated person can just hand them out.

Tissues, deodorant, sewing kit, hot glue gun, hairspray, bandaids, aspirin, safety pins, stain removal pen/wipes, nail file, scissors, and water are all good things to have in an emergency kit.

Do you have a DOC? They usually have an emergency kit. You can look up emergency kits on pinterest and see what they have.

@MRsMcK - this is awesome thanks! Deff will need some aspirin probably and tide to go.

@Miranda, I do, I'll have to ask what she has on hand.

Google "wedding day emergency kit" and pick and choose what you think you may need.

Extra Deodorant, bobby pins, lipstick for touch ups, small sewing kits (ya never know), band aids, tissues, a granola bar, odds & ends

I agree with @ELK - an overnight bag for hotel stay

Hi, date twin! I put together a storage box filled with the stuff mentioned above, plus baby powder, makeup wipes, etc. Google emergency kits, Did you put together a timeline and give it to all of your bridal party? I'm also having my BM(sister) be my point person. I'll give her my vendor contacts list, photos list, dj list just in case. I might hand over the tip envelopes to her too.

Me too! My ceremony is outside and I'm counting on taking lots of outside photos. I'm crossing my fingers for us both for nice weather. Have you broken in your shoes? I'm starting to wear them around the house at night. I wore them at my bridal shower, but I want to stretch them out a bit.

Oil blotting wipes, sunscreen if its an outdoor ceremony or reception, deodorant/antiperspirant, granola bar & bottle of water...

ETA: Bug spray if it's outdoors and at all woodsy! Don't want to be itchy on HM!

Yay all my date twins <3

My biggest thing is not forgetting things you want to be photographed. For me I want to get a cliche photo of our invitations with our rings so I made sure to pack an extra invitation set. Also pack early that way as you go along if there are things you've forgotten you will either see them or remember them and put them right into the bag.
