Have you looked into hiring a day-of coordinator? They would handle the set up of your venue, coordinate with all of your vendors on your wedding day and make sure that everything runs smoothly so that you have nothing to worry about except enjoying yourself.

You can check out the Day-of Wedding Planners that we have listed here. All you have to do is input your location to find local vendors! You can also put a price range filter to ensure that the suggestions are within your budget!

If all you want is help setting up, I would hire a high school or college student or someone doing general labor on Thumbtack. You don't need a wedding coordinator to put centerpieces on tables.

View Quoted Comment I second this. A high schooler would be perfectly adequate for such basic tasks. Do any of your friends or family have teens? You could pull them for set up then they could stay to enjoy the wedding with their parent(s).

I looked on Craigslist and found a coordinator with only a two hour minimum. So all I had him and his assistant do was set up reception

Currently looking for someone to just arrange my centerpiece and making sure the seating chart is correct. I also don't want to have to pay much for it.
