Tell me something that you did or you are doing, about your wedding that you could never say to someone in real life.

1. We decided to have a destination wedding so that we wouldn't have to pay for 200 plus people to come celebrate us that we don't really talk to, but are considered family (we have huge familes).

2. We only sent out STD's to people we could stand to be on a vacation with. So we did not invite everyone in our families. We have had some super distant family members (that we talk to once every other year) ask about the wedding and my fiance said its a small intimate ceremony, which is why we didn't invite everyone.

3. We are secretly hoping no kids come to our wedding.

Yeah, i"m bad. Your turn. =]

Jess G. That's how I did it. I despise my FSIL and I don't feel the need to see her face on what suppose to be the happiest day of my life. Like my FILs are not putting money which I than God I told FH is not fair to invite his fam if they don't even bother calling him to see how he is doing. They don't see FH unless we go over his parents house which we don't anymore. So we haven't seen his fam I don't mind my FH co workers cause they are cool and I don't have a problem with them.

We are not having OOT either. Too much to handle and we have to accommodate them.

I just hope step mom would be civilize when she finds out that I want my mom and dad to walk me down the aisle

    1. We said no kids that are not our family but it's only to get rid of the people who have too many kids or those who can't control their kids. I've informed certain people that their kids can come. 2. My boss thinks she's invited.HA! 3. If we could afford it I would have a lavish over the top wedding. 4. I secretly hope one of the groomsmen drops out so we can replace him with my BIL.

    1. I wish we could have the wedding where we live, instead of my hometown. But since my parents are paying for like 95% of it, it's a 5 hour drive for us.

    2. I would want a smaller guest list. We are currently at about 175 people. I wish it could be a small amount of family and mostly friends, so more like 1/2 the amount we are inviting.

    3. Finally, I would do this all on a shorter time frame. August 2012 seems so long away. I just want to start my married life with FH.

I secretly wished that my SIL would remove herself from the wedding party so I didnt look like a b**ch. But after she repeatedly hurt and pissed me off, I asked her to step down from a BM. Which worked out well because the blew our wedding day off and the whole family got to see how selfish she is instead of thinking it was just me lol

I also wish I was able to hire a wedding planner...and I wish I could have my wedding MN where I grew up. On the other hand no one under the age of 16 will be allowed to come so no kids!
