This is the outside of our Venue. I wish I had better pictures but I only have a couple...

Just to give you an idea of the place. I am going back and forth.... just don't want to break the bank for something you put your ass on

It would help if you had a picture of the chairs

Meh, as long as they're comfortable I wouldn't bother renting different chairs just for looks.

It depends on what the chairs look like, if it's more of a rustic look and they are wooden chairs then it goes. Otherwise , I wouldn't rent more chairs but maybe get chair covers. My venue will have chair covers with bows that I think will look really pretty.

    Show us the chairs! lol

Actually, chair covers on folding chairs usually don't look very good, IMO. I can;t really explain, but because of the sides that stick out to allow for folding. the covers look awkward.

As long as they are not dingy or dirty, it should be fine.

You guys, scroll in to the first picture to see the chairs. They're plastic folding chairs from like Costco.

Hmmm..... those are the chairs that the venue owns?!

Im a bit surprised as the space is a lot nicer than those chairs.

I was going to say renting isn't worth the money, but I don't think those chairs look very nice at all.

Is there a picture on the venue website with the chairs set up for an event?

Honestly, I wouldn't spend the extra money on different chairs or chair covers.

I have similar chairs. Honestly I dont think anyone will care ot notice. Not worth the extra money for chair covers or rentals

@Rachel, On a computer you can't make the pic bigger. I could kind of see them but not get a very good idea.

To be honest yea, I would notice a folding chair, but I also probably wouldn't care

If it's in budget then go for it, otherwise skip it. It's certainly not an expense I would go out of my way to break the bank for.

I can't say everyone would like this look, but I made chair ties (with no covers) out of a bag of second hand tulle. It's a pretty easy/cheap way to dress up chairs if you really don't like them.

Can you post one? I would not be one to care too much about chairs, but now that I see that picture, my inclination is that if the rest of the wedding was done up nice, those chairs will stick out and look odd. I can't picture it all going together.

I wouldn't notice the chairs and wouldn't spend money on chair covers or rental chairs. I say leave them as they are.

How comfortable are they? I think that's more important than aesthetics, though if it's in the budget I do think it would be a nice "upgrade." If not, I don't think it makes a big difference...chairs are not what people usually remember!

@Kristy I see what you mean about covers on a folding chair, (mine aren't folding so I didn't catch that).

If you are happy with the chairs when the rest of the venue is set up then I would leave it alone, they are certainly not horrible chairs.
