Wedding Cardigan? Shawls? Coverups?

I have a cardi for mine in one of my wedding colors, but will likely take it off for the ceremony. I love them, but a lot of girls on here didn't like my cardi with my dress. Clarification: no hard feelings ladies

Following. I'm an inside bride but want to do pictures outside if at all possible.

Yeah, I don't think I will wear it for the ceremony myself, it's more for the reception and pictures, but I feel like if anyone wants to rock one for theirs they should go for it! I think they're super cute. =)

I have a strapless dress. I ordered this off Etsy, in this color. I really like it.

ETA: I am not wearing it for the ceremony, but for the evening events and outside if it is cooler that day.

I think it's a cute idea. Look-wise, though, I prefer bolero jackets.

Those pictures are super cute! I have also been debating doing cardigans to cover up, since my wedding will be in November. A lot of what would go best depends on the style of your dress!

@DBB (or catskillbride?) I bought cardis for my bridesmaids to wear in a color that compliments their dresses. It's also a color I know they'll all wear again. And I sprung for Merino so they would enjoy wearing them again.

I want to do a faux fur stole, but i dont have my dress yet so I have to see what would look good

None, but I live in TN. Anything could happen weather wise so it's an indoor ceremony and reception for us.

Love them! I want to add a little bolero or something for the reception as well, but I haven't tried any on yet. I think the cardigans are super cute but really need to be paired with a simple, un-embellished dress.

I found a lace bolero for mine that has mock buttons on the back which I love since my dress is ball gown and strapless. And the bolero has long sleeves it completes the Cinderella look

@DBB there are some cool screen-printed pashminas on etsy if that's your style. I thought about it, but cardis are more versatile for me and my girls. Groomsmen are wearing charcoal grey, so I got charcoal cardis for the girls.
