Wedding bands for the blue collar worker

.....and others

FH works in mechanical maintenance/welding. We had resigned to him only being able to wear a wedding ring when he is off. His boss told him about these. He has been wearing it for years as does his wife who is an RN. I've seen them. They look like real precious metal.

WIN/WIN!

    Never heard of them before. FH and I had many long discussions about rings (he thinks it's dangerous to wear one to work- heavy equipment operator- and his fingers get super swollen in the summer). I think it's more respectful to wear one all the time, but I get where he's coming from. We looked at 'alternative' metals (titanium, etc.) which are cheaper and they're great because instead of having to cut them off if there's a problem, they shatter. We were thinking this was great until I felt like if that ever happened he'd never have his original ring again. So we went with the traditional gold band and he said he'd see how he liked wearing it and go from there.

    Well I just purchased a 'saferingz' that I figure I can give him after our wedding. That way he can wear his nice one if we ever go out but he can wear that one to work and not worry about getting hurt or hurting it.

    Thanks for the info!

    @Maggie S. I ordered one too. It's worth a shot, right?

    This is really neat - thanks for sharing! I'm a massage therapist, so unfortunately I still have to take my rings off, but it'd be great for so many applications!

    This is great! My FH is an electrician now and I've worried about his ring being conductive. I'll have to order one and see how they look. Thx for the info
