Wedding Arch

Keyona, on May 13, 2019 at 3:12 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 33

Has anyone else had or considered a wedding arch for their ceremony? I really would like to have one but I am thinking is it a total waste just having for the ceremony?? I'm sure it will be amazing for pictures and all but did anyone else have a arch and how important was it for you? Meh but its nice Smiley smile Wedding Arch 1Least Expensive Wedding Arch 2Most Preferred Wedding Arch 3

We are not having an arch. Our venue has one but we chose a different location for our ceremony. I just felt like the whole arch thing is a little overdone, especially at our venue, so I wanted to do something different.

Interesting - We are having the ceremony in a tent so it kinda adds to the depth of the place but I am also questioning is it too much. #decisions

Our venue has one that we are using. It's not something I had to have, but since they have it, we're going to use it. Although it will be minimally decorated, since I want to keep the decor costs down, and our ceremony will only be about 20 minutes long.

I do like how it defines the space a bit.

You can't go wrong either way! I think it depends on what kind of vibe you're going for too. From your pictures, I do really like the circular arch. I've never seen that before so I think it's unique and really pretty!

We did because my husband is Jewish so having a chuppah is tradition.

I agree I think it will just add to the space and be nice for photos but its not a need honestly.

Thank you! We didn’t do any other ceremony decorations, just kept that the focal point.

I think that's a good point so we have a black aisle runner aligned with rose petals and i was just thinking something is needed for the front its just how dramatic do i want that something to be

My venue doesnt provide one and to rent it from my florist its an additional $600 . Thats a no for us! Our wedding is in October and were having an outside ceremony. Aside from having white rose petals down the aisle and some lanterns, Ill let the fall changing leaves be my “backdrop decor”.

Aww that sounds nice esp since its outside. Our location does have a arch we can use but a potential florist has one as well that isn't number to rent just a lot when you add the flowers, setup, breakdown and clean up. I think that's my issue the added extras make it seem not worth it in my opinion for a 20 min ceremony unless we find a way to use it for the reception.

I'm with Kelly; we had a chuppah, because it is traditional for a Jewish ceremony (and we also used it to frame the cake table at the reception). However, in general, we had minimal decorations for the ceremony. If money is short, ceremony decorations are among the least necessary expenses.

We want an arch. I hope to have something that looks like this. We are getting married along a river and I want to give us a more designated spot to be!

This is pretty - so simple but it would create a great focal point for you.

Love the idea of a flower circle used for the ceremony and then brought it behind your sweetheart table! It serves two purposes and can justify the cost Smiley smile

I have my parents helping. The nice 0art about using PVC pipes is that that fit together already, they can be painted any color if they are going to be seen, and they are CHEAP. I have a set of sheer white curtains already and we are gonna get another set to make it a little less sheer. I dont think we are gonna do the later in the back though.

OMG was this at your wedding? It's beautiful my only thing is the expense with it honestly - I think my potential florist charges a lot in my opinion. So I am looking around getting pricing.
