We had our ceremony and reception in the same place and our "arch" was a suspended pallet adorned with greenery and florals that were above the stationed brunch, and when it was time for the ceremony we stood under it. Lastly it tripled as a focal point above the dance floor since we made it with a disco ball.
We didn't have much decor so it was nice to use as a focal point in the room and everything revolved around it.

My friends created a ceremony arch that doubled as a backdrop where everyone took photos afterwards, including guests. The groom is an industrial designer and her father a carpenter.


I think an arch is nice if you're having it in the same place the whole day or night. But also totally depends on your vibe!

We're opting out as our venue's fireplace will be a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony.

We built one ourselves. Our ceremony and reception are at the same location, so we're going to use it for our ceremony and then transport it to behind our sweetheart table as our backdrop. Here's a quick test run of our arbor and the decoration. We'll do more florals on it for the day of.

We decided on an arch. Rented it from Hobby Lobby for $40. The flowers we chose was a little expensive, but there's alot of flowers. And the drape was like $20

We had one, because it was at the beach and it came with our wedding package. It all depends on your preference. if you feel meh about it, then there is your answer.
