Wearing a Veil - Do or Ditch?

Lynnie, on February 4, 2020 at 11:05 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 119

While we don't exactly wear veils to ward off evil spirits anymore, they are still a traditional part of a bride's wedding day look! Are you wearing a veil on your wedding day? Ditching the veil entirely? Or are you wearing something else like a flower crown or jeweled comb atop your tresses?

Are you ditching or saying "I do" to wearing a veil?

Ditch, I didn’t like the way it felt when I tried one on at the store. Considering doing a cape or cook though.

I won’t be wearing a veil, but want to have a jeweled hairpiece.

I'm having one for the ceremony, but it won't go over my face at all. I like how it looks and it makes me feel like a bride.

I technically did both Smiley xd . I wore a cathedral length veil for some of my photos, but I did not wear a veil for my ceremony.

I wore a veil for the ceremony and formal photos but took it off when I changed into my reception dress.

Definitely having a veil probably going to go with a cathedral!

I'll be wearing one. I wasn't really into it but when I bought my dress and they put a cathedral length veil on me, I knew I had to wear one. It just completed everything for me.

My whole wedding planning journey I loved long veils and the creative pictures that you can do with them, so it was only fitting to have one! Wearing a Veil - Do or Ditch? 2

    Doing for ceremony and pictures

My plan is a jeweled headband and fingertip, but like Amy I love the pictures of the cathedral length so I go back and forth

Ditching. I always knew I would never wear a veil, in my opinion they are just a waste of money and pointless.

I was on the fence, but ultimately decided to wear one when I saw how great it looked with my dress!
