We have a wedding to attend next weekend..

FHs cousin is getting married on the 23rd. It will be at her parents house, tent, caterer and all... I feel like they're wedding will be so much nicer than ours.. I hate that they will be 3 weeks apart. They have way more money than us and I know it will be huge. Just feeling a little.. poor.. i guess? Hopefully I'm not looking like a psycho while I'm there, trying to get ideas or see how they did things differently..

It's natural to compare, but try not to get discouraged by that. A wedding is just an event, the marriage is what truly counts. Just because someone spends a whole lot of money on a wedding doesn't mean that their marriage will last. Case in point - Kim Kardashian.

Try not to get caught up in price tags, and enjoy yourself at both weddings. Smiley smile

Don't worry about the price! My uncle had a $50k+ wedding with filet mignon and 10 hours of premium open bar... but no one danced and lots of people left early. I remember the filet mignon, but I also remember being really bored and just sitting at a table outside talking to my now-fiance and siblings.

Keep an open mind and remember that more money doesn't mean they'll be having a better wedding... just a different one!
