Meghan, on February 4, 2019 at 5:05 PM Posted in Planning 0 16
Looking for a good way to share my wedding day timeline with the bridal party. Any ideas besides just a link in an email.

    Hey Meghan! Welcome to WeddingWire!

I’m personally going to send the wedding party an email a week or two before the wedding and include the whole shebang of a timeline I have. I’ll print a few copies out and make sure that my mom, FMIL, a bridesmaid (I don’t have a MOH), and the best man has one.

I’m also making condensed timelines with the pertinent details for the girls, and another for the guys - each will only include what’s relevant for them. I’m working on these right now and they’ll hopefully be cute and also include “tips” like don’t forget... or please wear... I’ll put them in the gift bags everyone’s getting at the rehearsal dinner.

I am just texting it to the girls individually, and emailing it to the ones who want a PDF copy. I will print it out too, and give them a copy when they get in town!

I'm probably going to just print one and put it in the gift boxes for the girls so they'll have it the night before

I have a google doc right now with running timeline so the wedding party can plan for travel. I’ll do something similar when we have a formal timeline

This is what I was going to suggest! If you're already giving them something when they arrive at your wedding venue, then include a timeline. If not, you can just put your timeline in their hotel room or wherever your wedding party is staying.

You could put it into a card and go the snail mail route. Make the card personal, and thank them again for being apart of your big day.

For general guests, I think we’re going to do a little inforgraphic with schedule of the day’s events and shuttle info for those using it; for members of the wedding party, I love the idea of mailing out a card or something personal, perhaps we’ll do email and then of course write a card for them upon arrival and put in their rehearsal dinner giftbag!

I found some super cute downloadable timelines from Etsy that I plan on using! You are able to change all of the information around for whatever you need! I plan on making them for everyone - bridal party, important family, vendors, venue! This is one and the shop on here has tons of other designs: https://www.etsy.com/listing/534947346/editable-wedding-timeline-edit-in-word Smiley smile

We're going to have welcome bags handed to them when they arrive at their hotel. They'll have the whole timeline printed on a card for them, plus a hangover kit. For the rest of the guests, we're looking into putting a sign in the lobby of the hotel letting them know when to be there for the shuttle.

I totally misread this and thought you were talking about how to give out info to the Bridal Party! OOPS!
We just did a handout that we gave them in their Welcome Bags

I’m having a get together 2 weeks before the wedding. I haven’t really involved or bother the wedding party so there’s a lot of details they don’t know. We are having a destination wedding with some events prior to it. I plan on having a timeline for both days and share it with them printed. I’ll also send it via email afterwards and gave them a hard copy at the hotel once they arrive.
Everyone walking the wedding including parents and ring bear would be at the get together so we can go over everything!

I have a Facebook group set-up and plan to post the GoogleDoc there including the timeline, important phone numbers, and addresses as a list.
