I’d love to connect with any brides who moved their wedding virtual. And how did you make it interactive for your guests?

My original date was 5/23/2020Moved to 11/21/2020And have moved again to 5/29/2021
But losing hope that it’ll be what we want next year so I’m searching for ideas to get excited about again!

I thinkmost COVID brides just did a zoom wedding. I know one person (because he got married out of state) hired a videographer that also did live stream. I saw his wedding via fbook. You could look into that to avoid canceling again.

I have hired a professional vendor to livestream my wedding in January. We’re only live-streaming the ceremony, but immediately following the recessional, we will be having a virtual toast with our guests so my fiancé and I have an opportunity to see and celebrate with them. Since we’ll actually see them, we have asked our virtual guests to dress in “virtual chic” attire - party on the top, pjs on the bottom. Lol!

Your new date of May 29 this year is my originally planned date from last year! I ended up moving my wedding to August and did a "micro" wedding (19 people including us) with Zoom added on for an interactive virtual element. It worked really well!
