Very small Quick wedding

Chelsea, on April 26, 2016 at 2:40 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3

My fiancée and I plan to get married (or eloped) very soon. I want to have a very small ceremony (mom dad siblings) and possibly a reception later for under 50 people.

So what is the usual time frame for things to be planned. I would do the whole thing next week if it were possible, but I'm trying to set a realistic timeline for our celebration.

I've done these in an hour and a half, when people have their license. The license is key.

We are doing the same thing! We got engaged on April 16th and will be getting married September 9th at the courthouse and then we are having the post Wedding party the following day.

You have to think about who you would want to invite and give them some notice.

Also you have to figure out what kind of food you want and order that.

A dress, accessories, Wedding bands, and a marriage license are all things you have to think about as well.

My FH and I are engaged and will be married within 4.5 months. It is possible but keep in mind vendors book way in advance so your options will be slim . This is why we just decided to book a big lodge and host everything there . The hardest part for us is making quick decisions and not sleeping on available vendors.

Your time frame depends on the type of event your really want. As long as you have a budget set and let your guest know ASAP you should be OK.
