Very small budget looking for central Florida venue

Evelyn, on March 15, 2013 at 1:05 AM Posted in Planning 0 12

I have been scouring websites trying to find a very low cost venue where we could have both the ceremony and reception. I have found several low cost ceremony sites but when I get to the reception part there is a high food and beverage minimum. I need help!

Hey, Where in Central florida? I live near Daytona and know of quite a few around here I can suggest. Not knowing where specifically I would suggest beaches, parks, community centers etc.

Idk what your tastes are, but my family is party of the Eagles organization. Most of them rent out really cheap, and almost every single one has a full kitchen, and plenty of parking. Some of them are really nice, some can look more like dive bars, but have really really nice interiors. I'm from Cocoa, my cousin got married at the community center in Port St John(Canaveral Groves area, just south of Titusville). Think it was $500, had chairs and tables for 100+, full kitchen, park for children, ample parking, and if i remember correctly, a covered valet style entrance. But, they did require a licensed bartender.

Try local senior centers. We looked into Beardall Senior Center, which was really nice and affordable. You bring in all your own stuff, so no minimums!!

    Check out Decideo.com.

I can suggest more if you are willing to travel outside of St. Cloud. Mainly the Volusia county area

In Sarasota, check out South Gate Center. Inexpensive venue that includes tables & chairs. Bring in caterer of your choice.

River Hills Country Club in Valrico. That's where we are having our wedding. They include all tables and chairs, catering, staff, you can have your ceremony there for a an extra fee (not too expensive), drinks. Really all you need is your DJ, Cake and photographer. Its a nice place.
