Venues under 3000

Samantha, on December 18, 2019 at 6:59 AM Posted in Michigan Planning 0 6
I am looking at trying to find a venue in the metro Detroit or Grand Rapids area for about 200 people for $3000 looking at dates in 2021 . I want for that to include the space and tables and chairs! Thank you for any suggestions

Here are a few places I found in that area. Not all of them list pricing so you'd have to contact them to find out. I will say that $3,000 for 200 people isn't very high and could be very difficult to find.

Hey Samantha! Here's a link to a venue search on WeddingWire for your area that can accommodate at least 200 people. I saw a few that listed pricing in your budget, but you may have to contact some venues that don't list their pricing. Hope this helps and best of luck! Smiley smile

I don't know that area at all but just knowing the pricing for venues here in GA and being one of the less expensive wedding states, that is going to require some research. I would suggest checking into local parks with pavilions or community buildings that they rent out to residents of that city/county. They are usually able to be rented by the hour for pretty cheap but not all will have tables and chairs included. You can also check with hotels with banquet rooms. Good luck!

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Samantha Smiley smile

I agree with Amber, definitely check out the WeddingWire venue directory to find somewhere for your wedding - Detroit Wedding Venues. You can filter by venue type, country club, hotel, etc.

I'm in S.E. Michigan. I got married a few weeks ago in Woodhaven. We held our wedding and reception in one place, a community center. It was very affordable, just 275 dollars for 10 hours. If we had a caterer we could have rented the kitchen for them for another 125. We brought food in and they let us use the kitchen for storage, the fridge, ice maker etc. the decor was neutral so went with what our decorations were. There were also tables and chairs there we didn't have to rent. We just had to set up and clean up.

You can also check out UAW halls, American Leigon halls, VFW halls, Eagles clubs, elks clubs. all are very affordable and most times come with tables and chairs and people to help you with set up. If you any family or friends who live in condo communities, mobile home communities etc. many times they have nice clubhouses that can be rented out just for the deposit you get back if you clean up

Not sure if you have found a venue or not yet, but FH & I looked at one in Almont, MI back in April 2019. It's called The Bells Event Center. It was an old school they converted. I believe it was $1500? Including space, tables & chairs. They could fit up to 500 I believe she told me.
