Venues in South Florida for Cheap

Gloria, on October 22, 2017 at 8:03 AM Posted in Florida Planning 0 49

I'm starting to look at my options for wedding venues and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions. My budget ranges from $5,000 to $7,000 but would prefer to spend less if possible. I am expecting to have around 80 guests. I also want a venue that has outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. And I eould like an evening wedding so also a venue that allows for us to be there late.Any suggestions?

Ok that's gonna be like really hard. Trust me, I'm planning a wedding right now in the same area for the same budget. But it is possible!!!

For starters, consider a restaurant reception. It's far cheaper and you still get to reserve a private room for 3-4 hours. Second, if you have a nice backyard - I would highly recommend Tasty Creations Catering. They provide soooo much and you can really keep it in that budget.

If you're really set on your budget, get a goooood budget worksheet to make sure you don't forget anything. It's crazy how much you can forget!!

I am using Mermaid Beach Weddings for my ceremony which is 40 people for $950. And then I'm having my reception at Soyka Restaurant in Uppereast side Miami for about $3,000 for 40 people.

There's a lot of golf course neighborhoods in Pembroke Pines that might have your budget! Especially at that time of year.

Some restaurant receptions I would recommend are Cooper Hawk's (I think that's the name??) and Peacock Garden Bistro.

Peacock Garden Bistro would be amazing for that amount of people! I believe you can rent out the entire restaurant. And they let you play your own music and have your cake cut there and everything you can think of! The chairs are ADORABLE and they provide everything. Seriously recommend this place if you can rent out the whole place!!

That's going to be really tough. Most venues in Miami area are $5-$7000 for just the venue alone! I live in coconut grove , and we had a hard time finding a place with even a $10,000 budget.

My advice, do it at a local park. A friend had a wedding at trade winds and it was very beautiful.

Look into greynolds park in north miami. They had an indoor area also

I’m in South Florida and struggling with the same thing. Smiley sad Its going to be really difficult for $5-7k to host 80 guests properly. I’m approaching $10k for 35, I’ve looked pretty much all over the state of Florida. I’m at the point where I’ve been so stressed and crying over wedding planning.

Giselle, I wouldn’t post your phone number on here. It’s public..

Check out Benvenuto’s in Boynton Beach. Smiley smile

Our original budget was $5k. I could find venues in that range, but all the other vendors added pretty much doubled it.

Giselle, Kristin is right, I wouldn't ever put my phone number on here.

I live in Broward and our original budget for 80 was $10.000 for indoor/outdoor ceremony. But we couldn't find anything we liked for that price. Specially somewhere we could stay late (at least 12:00!!!) But September is low season so you may be luckier than I was

We are doing ours in longans place for about 80 guest it's about $10,000 everything is included besides alcohol, photo, video and personal flowers. We do get the centerpiece flowers. The ceremony is outside, with a cocktail under a tiki, dinner under a tiki Then guest are taken indoor for the dancing.

I was pricing for April (our original date), but pricing isn't really any different for September. Weekdays are slightly cheaper.

I absolutely adore Cooper's Estate, and Redland Farms, but they're definitely not in my budget.

I'm looking at around $10k for 35! I'm starting to feel overwhelmed and not wanting to plan anymore. The sticker shock is winning. My dad offered to pay for the wedding, and i'm struggling to justify that kind of money.

    It's ridiculously expensive.

Ideally, i'd love an outside ceremony space, with inside reception. I'd love a garden venue, but that's like finding a unicorn. lol Ideally all inclusive would be preferable.

I love The Addison, but the only way to make that happen is a Monday-Wednesday Wedding.

@hisbeauty what about in the pinecrest gardens? It's $500 for venue rental if I'm not mistaken. Only thing is that you have to be out by 5pm

Enchanted, I did, they're expensive too. Smiley sad My mom is looking at a venue this week for me, it's up by her. She's coming down next weekend, and we'll tour two together. There's also one more over by Tampa I'm waiting on info from.

Hopefully we'll be making a decision soon.

Have you looked into a brunch/ cake amd punch reception? It wouldn't be during the night, but it might be an option for your budget?
