Hey Everyone! I’m looking for a venue with a budget of $3000 in Southern California.. it seems to be hard to find. Any suggestions?

How flexible is your wedding date? Most venues offer a huge discount for weekday weddings. If you are doing a smaller wedding, that could help. My venue (The Lodge at Malibou Lake) is around 3,000 for a weekday (food is in house and costly though). Other places I looked at were The 1909 and Repticular Ranch, they were in the 3,000ish range. Those are all in the north LA county/ South Ventura County area. I also looked at SkyPark Weddings which has a mostly inclusive morning wedding package that was very affordable. It's kinda by big bear.

What is your approximate guest count? Many venues have different room options based on the size of the party. One wedding I went to at Los Robles Greens in Thousand Oaks was $1,500- $3,000 for the venue and reception site including everything but food. Food was min $70/pp. It is a beautiful site.

My bridal shower will be held at The Oaks Club in Valencia. They are new so everything is perfect and not run down. Beautiful views, chivari chairs included. For a 4 hr bridal shower/reception for 70 people with a mimosa station is about $4,000.

Feel free to message me, I'm from the area and have researched many venues.

There's hidden oaks in rancho Cucamonga that starts at $2950. Loft 84 in Riverside starts at 2k. I have so many I've found, but you're right it's so touch with a smaller budget. I also found the group Wedgewood weddings does pakcages that are decent priced and includes a ridiculous amount of things.

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Jordan!

I’m sorry to read you’re having difficulty finding a venue.

The WeddingWire venue directory is a great place to start your search, have you check it out yet?

    San Diego Wedding Venues

You can narrow the selection down further by city, change the region, capacity, amenities, etc. On the venues WeddingWire storefronts they have some information on pricing, FAQs, etc, however, you can also reach out and request additional pricing. I hope this helps you find one within your budget!

How many guests are you planning on inviting? What day of the week will the wedding be held?

I'm not sure if they raised their prices since 2017, but Monte De Oro was less than $1K for the site fee in gorgeous Temecula! Their dinner was less than $75 PP. (NOTE: the vines are in full bloom in the summer but hotels are CRAZY expensive for guests and SELL OUT 6 months in advance. Choose off-season or a weekday, if possible!)

Southern California covers a large area-can you narrow that down by County you want to stay within or the city you want to be in/near? If you’re near L.A. and I’m in San Diego you might not want to travel that far!

There are quite a few breweries that offer wedding services. Not as glamorous as a winery but not as expensive either. I learned to just call
ir email and ask. My FH assumed the performing arts center would be too expensive as they have touring acts and a museum. You can even get married in stage. Turns out they are one of the least expensive places, including the catering. With a minimum $ on food, easily met, we are getting half off the banquet room. So our space for about 150 people is only $600! The alcohol is what is going to get you if you are not allowed to provide your own.
