I received an email this morning that my wedding venue is closing it’s doors 8/31/19. As annoyed as I am to have to start over, I am relieved I have time to. I can’t imagine how the people getting married between 9/1 and 12/31 feel. I pray all works out for anyone having to find a new venue, especially those getting married this fall/winter

Ah gosh that would really suck. This venue I was considering ended up closing a month before my wedding date so I was glad we didn't go with it or else we would have scrambled.

I would at least hope they warned those close brides that something like that might be coming ahead of time, but I highly doubt it. That’s just terrible.

My venue sent me a email last week that they were closing on 8/31. Luckily my date is April 2020 and I have a little time to reset. But I feel for the brides who have weddings next month. They are out thousands and the venue is only refunding part of the money.

Yes, we found a new venue with the date that we wanted. It’s not as perfect as I felt the last would be but we will make the best of it. It’s a nice venue, don’t get me wrong. Just wasn’t my first choice.
